汉化 chinese translation

Howdy, guys!

We have a situation here. In my opinion, nosotros should let AXAMDEEP do ALL the chinese translation. He's been doing it for years already. What is going on now there is just aweful. It seems that people involved in translation even havent played the game yet and their versions of text are going "+".

Information technology is a serious deal.

    somebody make some stupid translations, for case, Hullo -> Go Out(in chinese), i fearfulness that this would ruin the whole chinese translation of NS2.
    just as a Chinese saying goes, a rat's droppings tin spoil a whole cauldron of soup.
    Not me stingy, just im a NS mania fans since 2003 :)

    I have a question for this projection in particular. The fonts do not support chinese characters (in fact they're missing a couple of unicode ones), are you using a custom font or something like this or does nothing display?

    axamdeep, tin you please approve the strings that don't need translating at all? And then people can stop trying to tranlate those? (like MAC,ARC babblers e.t.c)

    yes, i always edit related .lua file to change fonts and font size for display chinese fonts (such as change "..\AgencyFB.fnt" to "Arial"), afterwards a new build release.
    now im trying to practise something with brandish of custom font. but information technology failed, even if i fabricated a correct .png+.fnt file, and i had tested it in other game and it'due south ok. but it cannot brandish the unicode characters in ns2, i take no idea near this.

    那些跳出的信息都是要在战斗中引起人注意的, 太长就不好了.
    最后,其实那一些跳出的信息可以不ç"¨å®Œæ•´å¥å­,正常人玩iv v 次大è„'就习惯了,会自动过滤掉语法了, 说重点就好.
    个人认为心态不åº"是"都有æ¯"那个长的,没关系啦"而是"那个æ¯"这个短å–",可以把这个精减吗?"

    不一定,有的时候真的会看不到, 人的主要视è§'是正前方60~度, 别的都是附加视è§'. 战斗中时大è„'都会先处理那里的信息. banner çš„ç"¨é€"(æˆ'认为) 是要把UI中一些不太明显的信息置中,不必太大修æ"¹.

    PS æˆ'都玩NS1 2~3年了算是有点经验吧?

    A Huge part of the game uses character set/encoding that doesn't not back up simplify/traditional chinese.
    I constitute this out subsequently I started translating as well.

    So I estimate those 2 translation is on agree for now until we get some good news.
